Nnnngggghhh....

Laugh if you feel inclined to, but this idea wouldn't leave me alone until I had gotten it on paper, in the computer and colored for posting. It's America and England from Hetalia doing The Little Mermaid. Another one of my horrid crossover dream-visions. Basically America went all hero and saved England from drowning and now dreams of becoming human to be with his.... pirate prince thing.

I also probably could have had this done eons ago, but the background gave me so much trouble, it demotivated me to work on it. I'm still not completely happy with it, but I'll live with it now.

References: I used a screencap from TLM for the background and that famous picture of merman!Sora and Riku for the poses, particularly this one. Textures are from this site.

Characters belong to Himaruya, who owns half my soul. The Little Mermaid belongs to Disney, who owns the other half.
