APH - Remember

I just wanted to draw something representing 9/11, since I felt a little down I didn't get anything done by the time the date actually arrived. I actually got inspired by a 9/11-related fanfic by ~demented-inu called "Remember September" and started doodling this in my little notepad. Then I wanted to scan and color it.

I didn't expect to take as long on the Towers as I did.

I like the sketch, but I'm not sure about the finished version, mostly because I think if I had further knowledge about using textures and lighting effects it could have turned out much better.

About the picture itself - obviously it's America, hurting and crying just as many of his people were doing on that day, mourning the many lives lost and just remembering, never forgetting. I hope it's a somewhat decent tribute.
